What I cant understand is that Apples iphone handles it fine (and always has, even on os3) but their ipad doesnt. I have, in recent weeks, several times deleted the series and created new ones starting today, but they still have the problem. I cant for the life of me see why Apple thinks that I would want to put an appointment I will attend in time zone B in at the wrong time when I make the appointment whilst in time zone A and hope that it turns up at the right time when I arrive at my destination - why would that ever be sensible It may be OK in the States (if you regularly cross time zones by 1hr) but it makes no sense at all in Europe. I want my device set up so that if I put in an appointment at 1pm it stays at 1pm even when I change time zones. The iPhone, by contrast, shows the right time even when the ipad has messed up Outlook.īoth devices are set to London time zone both in the general setting and the calendar setting. Sync the same appointment with the iPhone and it displays at the correct time.īut it only seems to be recurring appointments which are affected and only those where they start now and run on after the change to GMT in late October. It doesnt seem to make any difference whether I have Time Zone Support checked or unchecked. Daylight Savings Time 2018 And Outlook 16 Mac As 4ĭaylight Savings Time 2018 And Outlook 16 Mac As 4.
